Sioux City, Iowa – A former Western Christian Wolfpack volleyball player has been named a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) volleyball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, October 14th.
Northwestern’s Stella Winterfeld is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Winterfeld, a junior from Sioux Center, led the Raiders to two top-20 road wins in her return to the lineup, headlined by a 22-kill, 11-dig performance in a four-set win at No. 2 Concordia on Friday night.
Less than 24 hours later, she posted 15 kills and four aces in a sweep of No. 18 Midland. Winterfeld averaged 5.29 kills per set and had 15 digs on the weekend.
