Four NCC Soccer Players Players Earn All-Region Honors

Sheldon, Iowa – Four student-athletes from Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) have been recognized among the best in NJCAA Division II for the 2025 season.

Men’s Soccer
Sophomore forward Warren Traina earned Second Team All-Region honors, while freshman goalkeeper Jamie Skivington was named Honorable Mention All-Region.

Women’s Soccer
Freshman defender Amayrani Contreras earned Second Team All-Region honors, and sophomore defender Bailey Koyle received Honorable Mention All-Region recognition.

“These awards represent the hard work, dedication, and progress of our student-athletes and coaching staff,” said Eric Francis, NCC Athletic Director. “For both our men’s and women’s programs to have players recognized at the regional level so early in our athletics history speaks volumes about the culture we’re building.”

The Thunder soccer programs are part of NCC’s expanding athletics lineup, which also includes sports shooting. Men’s golf and women’s volleyball will launch in Fall 2026, continuing NCC’s commitment to providing new opportunities for student-athletes to learn, compete, and succeed.
