LA and Kory Roos will have the coverage on KIWA AM 1550 and FM 100.7
Boyden Hull Rock Valley is coming off a State Championship Game appearance a year ago and will begin the season with a new Head Coach in Jayme Rozeboom. The coaching change comes after Corey Brandt and longtime coordinator Heath Swanson stepped down after last season.
We asked Rozeboom what he’s looking to get out of the opener.
The Lions are led by veteran Head Coach Curtis Eben who feels his team is ready for the next step in the process and that’s game action.
Eben sees the biggest challenge Friday night as playing four quarters of physical football for the first time this season.
Jon and Justin Hellinga are back for another season of Nighthawk Football on KIWA FM 105.3. Pregame for both contests will begin at 6:30 with kick off at 7:00. Both games will be streamed at www.kiwaradio.com.
