Friday Football Preview For September 1st

Week two of the high school football season finds Sheldon on the road to South O’Brien and Boyden Hull Rock Valley at West Sioux.

The Orabs opened the season at home with a non-district win over Sibley Ocheyedan. South O’Brien started the year off with a road loss at Sioux Central.

Orab Head Coach Levi Letsche is expecting a maximum effort from the Wolverines.

Letsche on the importance of first down and effort Friday night.

South O’Brien Head Coach Mark Fuhrman on what gets the Wolverines attention.

Fuhrman is looking for consistency in game two of the season.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley started the year with a loss to Western Christian. Friday’s opponent is the West Sioux Falcons who started the year with a home win over Hartley Melvin Sanborn.

Nighthawks Head Coach Jayme Rozeboom has a high opinion of the Falcons.

The biggest key this week is attention to detail.

West Sioux Head Coach Ryan Schwiesow is impressed with the Nighthawks athleticism.

The key to the game may come down to the Falcon’s secondary.
