According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero the Seattle Seahawks are signing South Dakota State OT Garret Greenfield as an Undrafted Free Agent.
The 24 year old Boyden Hull Rock Valley alum began at RT at SDSU before switching to LT for his final three seasons. Greenfield was a First Team All American in 2020, 2022 and 2023. Overall he started 55 of 65 games over a six year college career due to the pandemic. The former Nighthawk had 31 starts at LT and 24 at RT. He was part of an offensive line that propelled the Jacks to back to back National Champions.
After winning a second National Championship he was invited to the East West Shrine Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine. At this years Combine in Indianapolis the 6-5, 311 pound Greenfield set the all-time record for lineman in the vertical jump at 38.5.
