GPAC Cross-Country Championships Scheduled for Saturday

Ashland, Nebraska –  The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cross Country Championships, slated for this Saturday, November 8, 2025, and will take place at Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Nebraska. 12 women’s teams and 11 men’s teams, including several top-rated teams in the NAIA, are set to compete in the event.  The 2025 GPAC Cross Country Championships are presented by IMA and Powered by Two West Advisors.

The day will begin with the GPAC Women’s 6K race at 10:45 AM, followed by the GPAC Men’s 8K race at 11:30 AM.

The Dordt University women’s and men’s teams are the defending champions from the 2024 event also held at Mahoney State Park.   

In the NAIA Cross Country Ratings on the women’s side Dordt is ranked 7th, with College of Saint Mary and Morningside receiving votes.  On the men’s side Doane is ranked 16th, with Dordt and Concordia receiving votes.

Ticket Information: Spectators must purchase a pre-event ticket for the event for $10 per vehicle.  This event ticket includes park entry to Mahoney State Park (regardless of being in state or out of state) and event tickets for the amount of people in your vehicle.

If an advance ticket is not purchased, fans will pay a $10 per person fee (adults) and $5 per person fee (students – 12 and Under) for the event to access the course to watch the GPAC Cross Country Championships.   

GPAC student passes will not be allowed for this event, as this is not a campus event.

All spectators must have a ticket to the 2025 GPAC Cross Country Championships.

Following the culmination of the men’s race, an awards ceremony will take place to recognize the GPAC team champions and top-15 runners in each race.
