GPAC Volleyball Tournament Set

Sioux City, Iowa – Following the conclusion of regular season play Tuesday, November 4th, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) released its volleyball tournament field.

The tournament starts Saturday, November 8th. The Red Raiders are the top seed after winning the regular season title this fall with a 16-0 record.  The two seed will be Concordia, who finished with a league record of 15-1.  Midland will be the three seed after finishing league play at 12-4. Dakota Wesleyan will be the four seed with the league record of 10-6, with Dordt the five seed also at 10-6. College of Saint Mary is the six seed (8-8), Morningside will be the seventh seed (7-9), and Mount Marty will be the eighth seed (5-11). 

GPAC tiebreakers were used to seed the tournament. 

Northwestern will receive the GPAC regular season automatic berth to the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Championship as the number one seed. The GPAC Volleyball Tournament winner (runner-up if Northwestern wins) also receives an automatic berth to the NAIA National Volleyball Championship. 

The 2025 NAIA Volleyball National Championship includes a field of 48 teams. All 48 teams will play in opening round matches played on campus sites nationwide on November 22 . The opening round winners will play at the final site for a 24-team pool play NAIA National Championship December 3-9 , 2025, in Sioux City at the Tyson Events Center.
