Grau Signs With Dordt Track And Field

Sioux Center, Iowa — Lindsay Grau, a senior at Spirit Lake High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender track and field program.

“Lindsay will be a great fit with our program and at Dordt University. We are looking forward to working with her and to see how she develops as an athlete and a person. Lindsay has competed at a high level in a very strong high school program. She is a versatile sprinter and will add depth and quality to that part of the program. We are thrilled that Lindsay chose Dordt to further her academic and athletic career!” said Dordt track and field coach Craig Heynen.

Grau has personal bests in the 200 meters of 26.85 and has run a 59.83 split in the 4×400 relay.

“The campus felt like home and the coaches were very welcoming. The energy of the staff and the atmosphere of the campus was like nowhere else,” said Grau.

Lindsay is the daughter of Shannon Grau-Quail, Adam Quail and the late Gordan Grau. She plans to study education at Dordt.
