Hastings and Doane top GPAC 2024-25 Women’s Wrestling Preseason Poll

Sioux City, Iowa –  In the first year as an official conference sport, Hastings College and Doane University each totaled 200 points in the preseason poll and are picked to win the 2024-25 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Wrestling Championship.  Midland was picked third with 183 points.

Conference newcomer Waldorf was picked fourth with 177 points. Dakota Wesleyan and Briar Cliff round out the poll.

The poll, compiled by the NAIA, was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each conference. The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot.
