Eli Haverdink (Orange City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Haverdink is a 5’10” infielder who has played four years for the MOC-Floyd Valley High School baseball team heading into his final season this summer. Haverdink was part of a Dutch team that won the Siouxland Conference championship with a perfect 8-0 record last summer. He scored 12 runs and appeared in all 21 games for MOC-Floyd Valley, who reached the class 3A substate final. Also a letter winner in basketball, Haverdink is an honor roll student and plans to major in Business at Northwestern. He is the son of Mark and Suzanne.
“We are so excited to add Eli to our roster,” said Northwestern head coach Brian Wede. “He is someone that we feel will continue to get better in college and is a great fit for Northwestern and our program. Eli is a high level teammate, a hard worker and a person that undoubtedly will make our program better the moment he joins us.”
