Hartley, Iowa — After a spring visit to Iowa City, linebacker Kooper Ebel has a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound HMS Hawk and three star recruit was offered the scholarship Saturday morning.
Ebel has received numerous D1 scholarship offers from the likes of Iowa State, Northern Iowa, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Nebraska, Illinois State, Vanderbilt, North Dakota State, and Tennessee Martin.
As a junior for HMS, the quarterback threw for 532 yards and 7 TDs against just one interception and rand for 1216 yards and 18 scores. Defensively, Ebel had a team high 82 total tackles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 4 interceptions. On the special teams side of the ball, Ebel added 3 kick returns for scores and 9 two point conversions.
