Its opening day for the Iowa Girls State Wrestling Tournament. Class 1A wrestles in the morning session from 10:00am till 2:30pm. The session includes the first round of action followed by the quarterfinal and first round of consolations then the second round of consolations to close out day one.
Class 2A will run from 4:30pm till 9:00pm. The session includes the first round of action followed by the quarterfinal and first round of consolations then the second round of consolations to close out day one.
The two day event will close out on Friday night with the 1A and 2A Finals running from 6:30 to 9:30pm.
