Iowa basketball coach Fran McCaffery says his Hawkeyes are embracing lofty expectations.
The Hawkeyes are ranked fifth in the Associated Press top 25. It is their highest preseason ranking in 65 years.
McCaffery does not feel the need to temper expectations.
McCaffery says in the midst of a pandemic and with no fans at games it will be an unusual year.
Included on Iowa’s schedule is a December 19th game against top ranked Gonzaga in Sioux Falls.
