Boone, Iowa – District and group assignments for the 2025 and 2026 football seasons are now available. Districts and Class 5A groups are effective for a two-year cycle. Sheldon has been assigned to the Class 2A District 1 for the next two seasons. The noticeable changes for Class 2A include Boyden Hull Rock Valley moving down to Class 2A from 3A and West Lyon moving back to Class 1A after spending the past two seasons in Class 2A.
Class 2A District 1 : BHRV, Central Lyon George Little Rock, Cherokee, Sheldon, Unity Christian and Western Christian
Class 1A District 1: Alta Aurelia, Hinton, Lawton Bronson, MVAOCOU, Ridge View and West Lyon
Class A District 1: Gehlen Catholic, Hartley Melvin Sanborn, MMCRU, Sibley Ocheyedan, Sioux Central, South O’Brien and West Sioux
8 Player District 1: GTRA, Harris Lake Park, Kingsley Pierson, Newell Fonda, Siouxland Christian, Fort Dodge St Edmund and Remsen St Mary’s
Class 4A District 1: Fort Dodge, LeMars, Sergeant Bluff Luton, Sioux City West, Spencer and Storm Lake
Class 3A District 1: Algona, Bishop Heelan, Humboldt, MOC Floyd Valley, Sioux Center and Webster City
