Northwest Iowa — After weather delays postponed the action Tuesday Class 3A and 1A girls golfers wrapped up State Golf Meet Qualifying on Wednesday.
In Class 3A at the Pocahontas Golf Club MoC Floyd Valley qualified as a team with a 375. Clarion Goldfield had the top score at 368. Alex Mankle of Okoboji qualified as an individual with a 74.

In Class 1A area golfers were able to finish the first nine holes Tuesday with the final nine played on Wednesday at the Newell Municipal Golf Course.
Akron Westfield from the War Eagle Conference will move on to State shooting a 407. Algona Garrigan has the top team score at 406.
Hannah Sieperda of Central Lyon shot a 93 to advance along with Kassie Peters who carded a 94. Kortney Hedlund of Akron Westfield fired a 96 to qualify as an individual.
