145 – Class 2A Quarterfinal
Austin Rozeboom (Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley) posted an 11-4 win and in the semifinal won by a 14-5 MD. Austin will wrestle in the Championship on Saturday.
106 – Class 1A Consolation
Jose Flores (Sibley-Ocheyedan) lost in the consolations on a 5-4 decision and is out
132 – Class 1A Quarterfinal
Blake Abrahamson (Okoboji) lost his quarterfinal match on a 12-2 decision and in the consolations lost by a 6-5 decision and is out.
138- Class 1A Quarterfinal
Mitchell Paca (Sibley-Ocheyedan) fell in his quarterfinal in 1:01, and in consolations won his match by an 8-4 decision. He will wrestle for 7th place on Saturday
195 – Class 1A Quarterfinal
Hunter De Jong (Sibley-Ocheyedan) won his quarterfinal by 9-3 decision and then won 11-7 in the semis. He will wrestle for the 1A 195 pound title on Saturday night.
220 – Class 1A Quarterfinal
Monte Pottebaum (West Lyon) fell in his quarterfinal in 1:40, and in the consolation won by a 10-6 decision to advance in the consolation round. In his second consolation match he dropped a 14-7 decision and will wrestle for 7th place on Saturday.
