Iowa City, Iowa — The Iowa Hawkeyes will bid for their third straight victory Wednesday night with a visit to Rutgers.
After a 4-4 start to the season the Scarlet Knights have won five of their last six.
That’s Iowa coach Fran McCaffery who says the return of senior guard Geo Baker helped Rutgers turn things around.
McCaffery says the play of center Filip Rebraca has been a key as of late. The North Dakota transfer had 12 points and 12 rebounds in Sunday’s win at Minnesota.
Iowa is 3-3 in the Big Ten and 14-4 overall.
