Iowa Plunges In AP Poll After Getting Hammered By Purdue

Iowa City, Iowa — After getting hammered by Purdue the Iowa Hawkeyes have been booted out of the top ten.

The Hawks are 11th in the A-P Poll after a 24-7 loss to the Boilermakers. Quarterback Spencer Petras was picked off four times as Purdue beat the Hawkeyes for the fourth time in five meetings.

The loss snapped Iowa’s 12 game winning streak.

The Hawkeyes are off this week before visiting Wisconsin on October 30th.

The Hawkeyes head into the bye week with a record of 6-1. Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz hopes his team uses the bye week to regroup.
