Iowa State Expects Big Season From Running Back Breece Hall

Ames, Iowa — After a breakout freshman campaign, Iowa State running back Breece Hall is looking for even more success as a sophomore.

The native of Wichita burst onto the scene with 132 yards of rushing and three touchdowns in a week six win at West Virginia. He ended up leading the Cyclones in rushing with 897 yards in being named a Freshman All-American.

That’s ISU coach Matt Campbell who says maturity allowed Hall to get on the field as a true freshman.

Campbell says Hall is not satisfied with last year’s performance.

Cyclone quarterback Brock Purdy says Hall was a game changer for the offense.

Purdy expects Hall to be even better this season.
