Des Moines — Day one of the Iowa State individual wrestling competition opened Thursday. Class 2A wrestlers began with the afternoon session running from 1:30 to 4:30. That included the first round and first round of consolations. Class 1A wrestlers competed in the evening session that ran from 6:00 to 9:00pm with the first round and first round of consolations.
