Ames, Iowa — Iowa State will bid for its first three game winning streak in Big 12 play since 2019 on Wednesday night when the Cyclones host West Virginia.
ISU is 5-9 in the league race and wins over TCU and Oklahoma have bolstered their NCAA Tournament hopes.
That’s Iowa State coach T.J. Otzelberger who knows Cyclones fans are anxious to get back to the big dance.
West Virginia won the first meeting 79-63 in Morgantown.
Otzelberger says the Cyclones need a better start in this one.
