Iowa State Players Talk Oklahoma

Ames, Iowa — Iowa State tight end Chase Allen says there is plenty for the Cyclones to play for as they get ready to visit 12th ranked Oklahoma.

ISU IS 6-4 after a loss at Texas Tech that all but eliminated the Cyclones from a shot at a return trip to the Big 12 Championship game.

Allen says another win over Oklahoma would be huge. It was a 38-31 victory in Norman back in 2017 that began the turnaround.

Allen says he does no regret using the extra COVID season to return.

Iowa State tight end Charlie Kolar says he has focused on what has been accomplished in the program and not coming up short this season.

While this season has not turned out like they hoped the program has made tremendous strides the past few years.

Kolar is a native of Norman, Oklahoma but says that does not make him want to win this game anymore than the rest.
