Iowa State women get ready for First Four

It is a quick turnaround for the Iowa State women who will take on Princeton in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament Wednesday night at Notre Dame. It is Iowa State’s sixth-straight appearance in the tournament.

That’s point guard Emily Ryan who will appear in her fifth and final NCAA Tournament.

Ryan says the time off since the Big 12 Tournament has been valuable.

ISU is 22-11 and sophomore center Audi Crooks says the Cyclones are motivated to show they deserved better than an 11-seed.

Crooks says the Cyclones are confident heading into the tournament.

Wednesday night’s winner will advance to play sixth-seeded Michigan.
