Ames, Iowa — Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy is confident the Cyclones will get off to a good start.
The seventh ranked Cyclones host UNI Saturday and it was a year ago they stumbled out of the game with a 31-14 loss to Louisiana.
Purdy says the Cyclones have been focused on getting off to a fast start.
A sold out crowd will be on hand for Saturday’s game but Purdy says that does not change the way he plays.
Purdy says the Cyclones are ready for a more “normal” season.
The Drake football team leaves today for a week long trip to Panama that will conclude with a game on Friday
Iowa baseball coach Rick Heller says the Hawkeyes would consider a return for another appearance at Principal Park in Des Moines
