Iowa State’s Jarrod Hufford On His Move To Tackle

Ames, Iowa — Iowa State tackle Jarrod Hufford has adjusted to the changes at left tackle.

Hufford moved from guard top tackle prior to the game at Kansas State and Saturday’s game at West Virginia will be his third start at his new position.

Hufford says being on his own blocking defensive ends is the biggest adjustment.

Hufford says a big win over Oklahoma State sets up another big challenge.

Iowa State takes a number 22 ranking on the road to West Virginia this week. The Cyclones climbed back into the Big 12 title hunt with a win over Oklahoma State and need a victory this week to remain there.

That’s ISU receiver Xavier Hutchinson who says the Cyclones are confident after the win over the Cowboys.

Hutchinson says his teammates have prepared him for a hostile environment.
