Iowa State’s Javan Johnson Previews The Basketball Season

Iowa State forward Javan Johnson says he will assume whatever role is needed to help the Cyclones improve.

The native of Decatur, Alabama sat out last season after transferring from Troy where he averaged nearly 10 and-a-half points as a sophomore.

Johnson feels his versatility is a strength.

Johnson expects the Cyclones to make progress after finishing 12-20 a year ago, including 5-13 in the Big 12.
