Iowa State’s Matt Campbell And Texas’ Tom Herman On The Big 12 Teleconference

Iowa State coach Matt Campbell says Texas always has tremendous talent and this season is no different.

The 15th ranked Cyclones visit the Longhorns on Friday looking to clinch at least a share of the Big-12 regular season title.

Campbell says the Texas offense led by senior quarterback Sam Ehlinger will be a challenge.

ISU will be in search of its first conference title since sharing the Missouri Valley Conference championship back in 1912. Campbell says a key for the Cyclones this season has been consistent improvement.

Texas coach Tom Herman is a former Cyclone assistant. He says this is the best Iowa State team he has seen.

Herman says the Cyclones have elite players having big seasons.

After last week’s game at Kansas was postponed the Longhorns have had extra time to prepare. Herman is concerned that this will be their first game since November seventh.

This will be quarterback Sam Ehlinger’s final game at home.
