Iowa State’s Matt Campbell previews Baylor

Iowa State returns from its bye week in the thick of the Big-12 chase as the Cyclones get ready to visit Baylor.

ISU has won three of its last four and at 3-1 in the league race and if part of a four-way logjam in second place.

That’s coach Matt Campbell. As he said in the previous cut 70 percent of power five teams lose coming off their bye week and the Cyclones tried to keep the same routine.

Five weeks ago the Cyclones were 1-2 after a loss at Ohio but Campbell never wavered in his belief in this team.

Campbell likes the progress the Cyclones have made over seven games.

Campbell says he has not even thought about where the Cyclones fit in the Big-12 race.

Baylor is 2-2 in the Big-12 and 3-4 overall.
