Iowa State coach Matt Campbell says the Cyclones need to be ready to face a confident Oklahoma team on Saturday night.
After struggling to a 6-7 record in Brent Venables first season as head coach the Sooners are 4-0 and ranked 14th nationally.
Communication will be a key. The offense will need to operate in a loud stadium and the defense will need to handle the Sooners’ fast paced offense.
Defense has been a key to OU’s rise this season. After giving up 30 points per game a year ago the Sooners are yielding less than nine per game.
Campbell says there has been an influx of talent and added experience.
