Iowa’s post season hopes are starting to fade as the Hawkeyes get ready to visit Michigan tomorrow (Saturday, January 26). Iowa is 3-5 in the Big Ten and has already dropped three home games, the latest a 69-67 loss this past Wednesday night to Maryland. Hawkeye coach Fran McCaffery is not calling this a must win.
Sophomore guard Dug McDaniel averages better than 17 points for a Michigan team that beat the Hawkeyes 90-80 in Iowa City back in early December.
Iowa has struggled defending the dribble and Daniel will be a challenge.
