Iowa Waits For Bowl Destination After 8-4 Finish

Iowa will wait to see where it goes for a bowl game. The Hawkeyes are 8-4 after surviving an atrocious offensive effort in a 13-10 win over Nebraska. Drew Stevens connected on a 53-yard field goal as time expired and Iowa only managed five first downs in the game.

That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz. The Hawkeyes won despite having only 164 yards of total offense.

The Hawkeyes finished conference play with a record of 6-3 and finished tied for fifth in the new 18-team Big Ten.
