Caitlin Clark became the all-time leading women’s scorer with 33 points in posting her 17th career triple-double in helping Iowa crush the Gophers 108-60. Clark also broke the N-C-A-A single season record by nailing eight 3-pointers for a total of 156 on the season. Her 3,650 points pushes her past Lynette Woodard of Kansas for the all-time scoring mark. Amaya Battle had 18 points as the Gophers did their best to contain Clark but they suffer the loss and fall to 15-13 on the season and 5-12 in the conference. The sellout crowd at Williams Arena was in excess of 14,000. The Gophers finish the regular season schedule on Sunday at noon in Penn State. That’s followed by the Big Ten Tournament next week at Target Center.
