Oklahoma outscored the Iowa women 16-1 to close the opening quarter and crushed the Hawkeyes 96-62 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Norman. Iowa committed 20 turnovers and was outrebounded 64-33 to close the season with a record of 23-11.
That’s Iowa coach Jan Jensen. It was the Hawkeyes worst performance of the season.
Jensen feels her first season as head coach was a success and she is excited about the future.
Guard Lucy Olsen wrapped up her one and only season in a Hawkeye uniforms by scoring 20 points.
