The Iowa Hawkeye women suffered their fourth straight loss. The Hawkeyes squandered an 11 point fourth quarter lead and fell to Nebraska 87-84 in overtime. It was the Husker’s first win in Carver-Hawkeye Arena since 2018. Iowa missed critical free throwns down the stretch and finished 16 of 29 at the line.
That’s Iowa coach Jan Jensen. The Hawkeyes fall to 2-5 in the Big Ten and Jensen is concerned about their confidence.
Hannah Stuelke led the way with 16 points and added 16 rebounds as Iowa falls to 12-6 overall.
