Iowa women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder is embracing high expectations for her program in the future. The Hawkeyes were ousted from the NCAA Tournament in the Sweet 16 after a 92-72 loss to top ranked UConn. The Hawkeyes finish the season 20-10.
Bluder was impressed with how much progress her team made while dealing with limitations during the pandemic.
Bluder says the Hawkeyes always have high expectations.
All five starters return next year, including national scoring leader Caitlin Clark.
Clark says the tournament run will give them a confidence boost.
