Iowa City, Iowa — Iowa women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder says staying healthy will be a key for the Hawkeyes this season.
Sophomore All-American Caitlin Clark is one of several starters returning from last year’s team that made it to the Sweet-16 of the NCAA Tournament.
Clark led the nation in scoring as a freshman.
Iowa opens the season ranked ninth and Bluder says improvement on defense is the key to taking the next step.
