Indianapolis, Indiana — Iowa coach Fran McCaffery is aware of the mentality Grand Canyon will bring into Saturday’s first round of the NCAA Tournament against his eighth ranked Hawkeyes.
McCaffery has been the underdog several times in directing Lehigh, UNC-Greensboro and Siena to the tournament.
McCaffery says every team in the tournament earned their trip.
McCaffery says seeding means nothing when the games begin.
