Iowa senior Tony Perkins wants to have a big season for the Hawkeye basketball team.
The native of Indianapolis was third on the team in scoring at just under 12 and-a-half points per game and becomes one of the leaders for a team that lost top scorers Kris Murray and Filip Rebraca.
Perkins shot 33 percent from three point range and has spent this summer working on perimeter shooting.
Perkins spent a week training in Las Vegas.
The Hawkeyes were 19-14 last season and lost to Auburn in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
