K-State’s Chris Klieman Previews Iowa State

Manhattan, Kansas — Kansas State coach Chris Klieman says they are not focusing on last year’s game at Iowa State.

The shorthanded Wildcats were throttled in Ames 45-0.

Klieman says Iowa State’s run game sets up Brock Purdy throws to playmakers.

After opening 3-0, the Wildcats have dropped Big 12 games to Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

Quarterback Skylar Thompson returned from a knee injury to lead a near upset of the Sooners Klieman says he needs to remain a threat in the run game.
