(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following baseball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played March 28-April 3, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-2022 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Pitcher – Gyeongju Kim, Dordt University
Gyeongju Kim of Dordt is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Kim, a junior from Seoul, South Korea, allowed just two hits against Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday striking out 14 batters which ties for the third best total in Dordt program history. This comes on the heels of his 21-strikeout performance last week. He has not allowed an earned run in three GPAC starts (25 innings).
