Kneifl Out-Throws Competition At Dordt Invite

SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – Competing against perennially strong NCAA Division II and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics programs at Dordt College Saturday, April 6, served as a precursor for the 2019 Sioux City Relays.

Readying for the only meet of the year on the home Olsen Stadium track, Morningside head coach Dave Nash’s women’s squads registered impressive results at Dordt College’s invitational. Led by individual championships from senior and former Orab Katie Kneifl.

Kneifl, already in the national top five of the javelin, bolted into first with a 150-foot, one-inch moon launch that defeated the field by over 25 feet.

Kneifl will compete at the annual Sioux City Relays which are held this Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13.
