Levi Letsche New Orab Head Football Coach

The Sheldon Orabs have filled their varsity Head Football Coaching vacancy.

Levi Letche will take over the reins of the Sheldon program. The Sheldon Community School District made the announcement Friday. He comes to the Orab program from a Northwestern football program that won the NAIA National Title this past season. Letsche joined the Red Raider coaching staff in 2021 and coached the Red Raider offensive line after being a four-year letter winner for the Red Raiders from 2013-16.

While donning the red and white, Letsche played in all 42 games at Northwestern, starting a large majority of them. He is a three-time All-Conference offensive lineman for Northwestern, earning First Team All-Conference honors his senior season in 2016. While at NWC, he played in two National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Football Championship Series (FCS) games (2013, 2014).

He graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 with a degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. In 2020, he graduated from Northwestern College with his master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration. Letsche is now a high school mathematics teacher in the Sheldon Community School district.

Letche takes over for Tyler Lloyd who has accepted the Head Coaching position at Ogden Iowa.
