Sylvis, Illinois — A veteran of the PGA Tour was the winner at the John Deere Classic.
Lucas Glover fired a seven under par 64 to win the John Deere Classic in the Quad Cities. It was Glover’s fourth career win on the PGA Tour and his first in a decade. He finished two strokes ahead of Kevin Na and Ryan Moore.
Glover first played in the Quad Cities back in 2002 and says his strategy was to wait until the back nine to even check the leaderboard.
After taking the lead into the final round Columbia’s Sebastian Munoz was at even par to finish three strokes back.
