Des Moines, Iowa — Payton Mauldin finished fourth in the 800m on the first day of the 2022 Drake Relays held today in Des Moines, Iowa.
Running in the second and fastest heat, Mauldin placed fourth in his heat and finished fourth overall with a time of 1:50.9. Mauldin’s time today ranks fifth all-time at Dordt; the sophomore has the fastest time currently in the GPAC, No.2 in the NAIA.
