Chicago, Illinois — Miami coach Jim Laranaga says two teams that exceeded preseason expectations collide Friday night in Chicago when the Hurricanes play Iowa State in the Sweet-16 in Chicago.
Miami is the 10 seed in the Midwest Region while the Cyclones are 11th.
Laranaga says both teams have earned their shot at the Sweet-16.
