Ann Arbor, Michigan — Michigan offensive lineman Andrew Vastardis says the Wolverines hope to take the next step.
The second ranked Wolverines can clinch a spot in the College Football Playoff with a victory over 13th ranked Iowa in Saturday night’s Big Ten Championship.
Vastardis says the Wolverines put an emotional win over Ohio State behind them.
After a COVID shortened 2-4 season in 2020 Vastardis says the Wolverines are thrilled to be playing for a title.
It would be Michigan’s first Big Ten championship since sharing the 2004 title with Iowa.
That’s linebacker Josh Ross who says Saturday’s is the next step.
Ross says they began working for this season as soon as 2020 ended with a game against the Hawkeyes that was canceled.
