Mouw To Run For Northwestern

Northwestern logoOrange City, Iowa —Miranda Mouw (Sioux Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Mouw ran four years for the Sioux Center track and field and cross country teams. Mouw earned all-conference honors and qualified for the state cross country meet two years. She also qualified for the state meet and was named all-conference as a member of the 4×800 relay as a senior. Mouw has a personal best of 2:30 in the 800m. An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Mouw plans to major in exercise science/physical therapy at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Steve and Heather.

“We are thrilled that Miranda is joining our cross country team this fall,” commented head coach Scott Bahrke. “Her experience at the state meet will be a good asset for her and our team. We welcome Miranda to our Red Raider cross country family.”
