NCC Sports Shooting Team Opens Season

The NCC Thunder Sports Shooting Team dropped a meet to Iowa Lakes Community College. It was  their first competition of the 2022-2023 Sports Shooting competition season on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

NCC fell 4 targets short 465 to 461. The top 5 scores for NCC student-athletes  and their totals out of a possible 100 targets were:
1. Corwin Moser, Galena, IL – 94
2. Ethan Unzicker, Danville, IA – 94
3. Skyler Mullinix, Hull, IA – 93
4. Tyler Simon, Salem, IA – 91
5. Jonah Nibbelink, Orange City, IA – 89

Coach Brian Lauck said, “It was a tight competition today, and it is always hard to lose by only four targets – but we had a good showing during our first conference competition of the season, and we’re looking forward to building on this great start!”
