On Saturday, October 1 the NCC Thunder Sports Shooting team defeated Iowa Central 457 to 450 in their second Sports Shooting competition of the 2022 season.
The top 5 scores for NCC student-athletes were:

2. Trenton Van’t Hul, Rock Valley, IA – 93
3. Corwin Moser, Galena, IL – 92
4. Tyler Simon, Salem, IA – 90
5. Skyler Mullinix, Hull, IA – 89
Coach Brian Lauck said, “The wind gave us a hard time today, but our student-athletes stayed calm and steady. We had a great turnout from parents, families, and supporters, and I’m proud of the way our team performed today.”
The NCC Thunder Sports Shooting team’s next competition will be a non-conference shoot against Buena Vista University on October 8 in Humboldt, SD – they will be shooting the sporting clays discipline.
