October 16, 2024: Men’s and Women’s Soccer vs. Iowa Central at Orab Field
The NCC men’s soccer team fell to Iowa Central 2-1. Nacho Morales scored the only goal for the Thunder in the first half with an assist from Ian Troncoso. The Thunder did have a lead for most of the game, but Iowa Central scored twice in the final five minutes to take the victory. Charlie Prtenjaca had nine saves.
The NCC women’s soccer team had a tough 7-0 defeat to Iowa Central. The Thunder are currently struggling with injuries, as they only had 10 players for this match. Sophia Schwappach managed the only shot attempt for NCC.
